The short shifter reduces throw by 40%, giving a shorter, more positive-feeling shifter action. (The Kartboy one is shown next to the stock shifter above.)
Installation is straightforward, and can be accomplished in under an hour. All stock and aftermarket Subaru-fit shift knobs will thread directly on.
Fits all 2005-09 Legacy five-speed manual-transmission models. Add Kartboy shifter bushings for further improvements in shifting feel!
