If you have wheel spacers, extra-thick wheels, or you just want longer studs so it’s easier to swap wheels at the track, we’ve got you covered. ARP stock-thread-pitch (1.25) wheel studs for all Subaru models are hardened heat-treated 8740 chrome moly steel, with a tensile strength of 200,000 psi. Bullet nose design on the longer studs makes for easy thread starting and sliding wheels on over them is a cinch. Cadmium plating gives extra durability.
There are three lengths. The “stock” size is a few mm longer than stock. Medium size is about 23mm longer than stock; the shorter is around 35mm longer than stock. Note that stock studs vary in length for different models.
- Stock: Underhead length 44mm. Thread length 31mm. About 1-3mm longer than stock Subaru studs. Standard nose.
- Medium: Underhead length 63mm. Thread length 45mm. Bullet nose.
- Long: Underhead length 76mm. Thread length 53mm. Bullet nose.
Just by way of comparison, a stock Subaru stud from a 2008+ WRX/STI has an underhead length of 43mm and a thread length of 26mm. A stock 2002-2007 WRX wheel stud has an underhead length of 41mm and a thread length of 26mm.
