Blouch Performance Turbo is never satisfied with status quo. With this in mind, Blouch took another look at the already stellar performance of the Dominator 3.0R and applied state-of-the-art technology to make it even better.
The first improvement was to address turbine inlet pressure with a superior flowing and better fitting turbine housing than the already successful 8cm2 design. We settled on an optional 10cm2 design that could be applied to both our journal bearing and ball bearing Subaru products. In order to ensure that quality control meets our standards and we have flexibility to serve our customers, the Blouch 10cm2 castings are machined in-house on Blouch’s own CNC equipment.
The next area addressed was compressor performance, and a fully-machined billet compressor wheel was added to the Dominator 3.0R. The result is a stronger yet lighter compressor wheel that looks awesome, but more importantly outperforms conventional compressor technologies hands down due to superior aerodynamics.
The new and improved Dominator 3.0 XT-R is unparalleled in Subaru bolt-on performance with quick spool, great boost control for a nice broad flat torque curve and 550 crank horsepower capability while maintaining a standard 2.360″ compressor inlet dimension without any compressor surge.
